Grant opportunities for our future leaders

Updated: Jun 7

We've been funding projects to advance the care of patients and families with hereditary cancers syndromes since 2012. CGA-IGC’s continued investment in career development will foster clinical innovations and mold our future leaders.

Now in 2022, and in addition to the CGA-IGC Award, we are delighted to announce an Early Career Award in partnership with Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC). This award will support research, quality improvement, or patient engagement projects that improve the lives of patients and/or their family members with hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes, early-age onset colorectal cancer, or familial colorectal cancer.

We're also pleased to share some testimonials from our previous grant recipients, like these from Drs Rifkin, Singh and Burton-Chase who received a CGA-IGC Award. It's humbling to see how the CGA grants have contributed to early research successes and career development and we hope that our grants will continue to serve as a stepping stone into a scientific career that ultimately benefits patients and their families with #HereditaryGICancer.

Take some time over the summer to think about the next steps of your research career and read about our grant opportunities, including details on eligibility, submission instructions, and deadline information. We look forward to receiving your application by Monday, August 22, 2022, 5pm PT.
